A Weekend of Gardening

Well our Easter long weekend was filled with tree chopping, weed pulling, grass mowing and anything else that could possibly be done to get rid of some of the forrest we had growing in our backyard. I swear the people who had our house before us had a bet on how many large trees they could fit in such a small space. But now at least I can see the sky when I look up and the ground when I look down. Still more to go but at least it looks neater.

We did find a very cute little visitor while trimming one of the palm trees. He actually jumped onto my daughters hand and gave her a heart attack. But she soon recovered and discovered it was a very cute lime green tree frog.

Here he is on her hand.

Off he goes to freedom.

Oh cute!!!! I love those little green tree frogs, you don't see them very often these days.
Surely one landing on you must be lucky!

Gardening is happening here too!
Our previous owners must have been related to yours - only ours liked conifers :)

I bet you feel great satisfaction as you shape the garden up to your wishes :)

Take some pics of the new garden...I probably wouldn't recognise it now :)
