A little while ago I put a hanging bird feeder on our deck and we started to get some visitors. Now every morning we have these lovely birds coming to take turns in eating. They are just beautiful. This photo doesn't show all their colours. They have beautiful red chests.
These ones visit from time to time too.

Just found your blog and have been reading about your USA adventures. I am heading there on Saturday with my family and was wondering if you could pass on any pearls of wisdom especially in regard to organising funds, travelling on plane, packing. Thanks Laurel
